In order to enliven the scientific research atmosphere of the college and promote academic exchanges among teachers, the Automotive Institute held a series of activities "Every Monday Lecture". The event was held at 15:00 pm on October 19, 2022 in the conference room 311 of the college, and Shi Shengfang, a teacher from the Department of Power Engineering of our school, brought an academic lecture with the theme of "Structural and Performance Characteristics of Ceramic Materials and Research Status" to teachers and students, which was hosted by Wang Ruochen, vice dean of the School of Automotive Engineering.

 With the development of space technology, aerospace technology, energy technology, etc., materials must have excellent properties such as high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, so that they can be used in more demanding environments. At present, high-performance ceramic materials have become the development center of new materials, with broad application prospects in aerospace, automotive engines and other fields, understanding the structure and properties of ceramics, can break through the technological innovation and cost advantage of ceramics in production, preparation and application.This lecture was well received by teachers and students, and the teachers and students who participated in the lecture listened attentively and unsatisfactorily.
