On the 14th of January , 2018, at 10:30 in the morning, School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering invited Dr.Zhou quanbao, chief engineer from Changan UK R&D Centre Limited conducted the academic lecture on "low friction engine technology" for the teachers and students of our college in the 311 lecture hall of the automobile building. The lecture was chaired by professor Yin bifeng, deputy dean of the college, and more than 60 teachers and students came to listen.

Doctor Zhou is now the chief engineer of CAE in the Changan UK R&D Centre Limited , who has profound theoretical foundation and rich practical experience. He is an expert in internal combustion engine and enjoys high reputation in domestic and international industry. In this lecture, in the context of energy conservation and emission reduction, Dr Zhou introduced the anti-friction technology of internal combustion engine and the simulation calculation method of the friction pairs of various components of the internal combustion engine. In addition, Dr Zhou also introduced the engine development process and shared ideas and methods for solving problems during work.

After the lecture, the teachers and students said that they further widened the field of vision, the growth of knowledge, and they were aware of low friction engine related knowledge and advanced design concept. Moreover, they learned how to analyze problems and solve problems in scientific research work, which benefited a lot.
