At the invitation of ISAS-2019 and its Chairman Hou Jinyama, the four-member delegation led by Deputy Dean Liu Zhiqiang of School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering came to visit the International Symposium on Automobile Safety in Japan from April 10 to 14. At the seminar, Deputy Dean Liu Zhiqiang gave a report entitled “Research on Local Dynamic Path Planning Method for Intelligent Vehicle Lane Changing”. Professor Zhu Maotao and other participants also gave reports titled "Thermal Safety Analysis of Double-layer Battery Pack under Coupling Heat Transfer between Air and Liquid Domains", "Experimental and Numerical Analysis of Laser Peen Forming Mechanisms of Sheet Metal" and "Intelligent Diagnosis for Mechanical Faults of In-wheel Motor", which have received extensive attention from other international counterparts.

After the seminar, the four-member delegation visited the Research Center for Industrial and Social Security Technologies at Mie University. Professor Hou Jinyama made a report on how to develop safety monitoring equipment and the practical effect of safety monitoring equipment in engineering application based on the application of rotating machinery in practical engineering. Later, both sides discussedtopics of training plan and training mode of undergraduate students and graduate students and other issues on teaching and scientific research. They further exchanged views on how to improve students' practical ability and innovation ability of scientific research.
