Short Biography

Dr. Mei took part in   job in 1997 in Jiangsu Science and Technology University as an assistant   lecturer. He obtained PhD from Jiangsu University in 2005, and subsequently   he was an associate professor in 2008. From Sept. 2012 to Mar. 2013, He   worked in Technical University of Berlin as a visit scholar.

He moved to the   vehicle and engine emissions laboratory of Jiangsu University in 2002, and   engaged in laboratory constructing and devices maintenance. Later, he worked   as a research associate. Now, he is serving as a vice-director of Power   Machinery Department.

From 2001, he carried   out the research work about biodiesel for doctor degree. His doctor   dissertation was concentrated on the biodiesel combustion process and the   emissions characteristics. He joined in several research projects about   biodiesel funded by Chinese governments. Based on those, the Engineering   Center of Power Machine Fueled with Biodiesel was built up with the finance   support from the foundation of Jiangsu Province (China).
