From Dec.1st to 3rd, the professor from Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule (OTH) Amberg Weiden in Bavaria, Germany, visited and lectured at Jiangsu University as well as Christian Erkenbrecher, Director of International Cooperation Office of OTH Amberg-Weiden, Prof. Guenter Elsbett, Adjunct Professor of Jiangsu University. Markus Brautsch gave an academic report entitled “CHP with modern Diesel engines - efficiency / economy / climate protection” and then Christian Erkenbrecher gave an academic report entitled “Research at the University of Amberg”. Some teachers and graduate students from the Department of Power Machinery and Engineering attended the report.

The lecture was given in English. Many teachers and students discussed and communicated with them heatedly about energy conservation and emission reduction based on CHP and visiting scholar in Germany. Li Zhongxing, Director of International Office of Jiangsu University, and others talked over with OTH Amberg-Weiden fruitfully about the cooperation of student cultivation and scientific research.

Prof.Markus Brautsch works for Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule (OTH) Amberg Weiden in Bavaria, Germany, meanwhile he is an adjunct professor of Jiangsu University. He has been engaged in the application of engine new energy and the research of waste heat utilization for a long period for which he received a number of Germany and the European Union awards.
