From Mar.27 to 28, Prof. Farshad Fotouhi, dean of School of Mechanical Engineering, prof. Simon Ng, deputy dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and Prof. Caisheng WANG,tenured associate professor of School of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Wayne State University (WSU),USAheaded a delegation to our university. President Prof. Yuan Shouqi and Vice President Prof. Chen Long met with them. The two parties carried on discussions about postgraduates’ joint training, international joint research laboratory and multi-level cooperation between the two universities.

After the discussions, the two parties reached consensus on those issues. Vice President Prof. Chen Long and Prof. Farshad Fotouhi, on behalf of each university signed PhD Scholarship Program Agreement between Jiangsu University and Wayne State University and Memorandum of Understanding between Jiangsu University and Wayne State  University on The Development of International Joint Research Laboratory.
