From July 10 to 11, 2021, the sixth Jiangsu University Student transportation science and technology competition of "Weimaike" was held in Yangzhou University. Geng Guoqing, vice president of the school of automobile, and Yao Ming, Dean of the Department of transportation engineering, led the team to participate. All five groups of works selected and recommended by our college entered the finals, and finally won one first prize, two second prizes and two third prizes, This is the best result our college has achieved since participating in the event!

Under the guidance of the transportation engineering sub committee of the transportation Teaching Steering Committee of colleges and universities of the Ministry of education, Jiangsu University Students' transportation technology competition is organized by Jiangsu Urban Science Research Association, Jiangsu Urban Planning Research Association.

Nanjing Science and Technology Association Co sponsored the regional transportation science and technology competition for college students. This competition is hosted by Yangzhou University.

The theme of the 6th Jiangsu University Student transportation technology competition is "helping new infrastructure and enabling new transportation". The competition has five competition groups: transportation planning and management competition group; Traffic information engineering and control competition group; Vehicle application engineering, road and railway engineering and other competition groups; Comprehensive transportation competition group and graduate competition group. The competition received 122 entries from 26 universities, including Jiangsu University, Yangzhou University and Southeast University. After anonymous evaluation by the expert committee, 75 works were finally determined to enter the finals. According to the requirements of the competition, the teachers and students of our college made careful preparations in the early stage and made wonderful replies. Five works selected for the finals were highly praised by the judges of the competition.

In 2022, the event will be hosted by our college. Vice president Geng Guoqing took over the banner of the 7th Jiangsu University Transportation Science and technology competition and extended a warm welcome to the representatives of college teachers and students -- see you at Jiangsu University in 2022!
