Recently, the national development and Reform Commission announced 14 recommended logistics industry standards that have been approved, including the logistics service specification for prestressed concrete pipe piles (Standard No.: WB / T 1117-2021) drafted by Professor Pan Gongyu, Associate Professor He Meiling and Jianhua Logistics Co., Ltd. and Beijing Futian Daimler Automobile Co., Ltd. The standard will be implemented on July 1, 2021.

Prestressed concrete pipe pile is one of the indispensable and important building materials products in national economic construction. However, due to its material and weight, the pipe pile itself is easy to be damaged in the process of transportation and storage. There are some problems in pipe pile logistics, such as inadequate management, uneven specialization of transportation tools and fixed appliances, inconsistent information collection content and so on, which are very easy to cause safety accidents. The formulation of this standard will standardize the service process of all links of pipe pile logistics in China, help to reduce potential safety hazards, effectively improve the operation efficiency of pipe pile logistics, and enhance the logistics service capacity and management level of pipe pile industry.
