Startup of the course Tractor Design and Use for agricultural technology advanced students of China-Africa friendship Chinese Government Scholarships.
On April 13th, 2022, our college started the course Tractor Design and Use for agricultural technology advanced students of China-Africa friendship Chinese Government Scholarships. More than 50 students from Kenya, Zambia, Ghana and other African countries participated in the whole course online.
The course Tractor Design and Use consists of the overall structure of tractor chassis, tractor working device and suspension system, tractor fault diagnosis practice and other modules, and the first lecture is started by Mr. Sun Dong. Mr. Sun introduced the overview and the development of tractor technology in China in detail using PPT and vedio. With group discussion and case analysis, the students' learning enthusiasm is stimulated, their understanding of knowledge points and the memory of important and difficult points are strengthened. Some students also shared the process of building tractors and agricultural mechanization in their own countries which triggered heated discussion among students, and we achieved good teaching results. Subsequent courses such as the overall structure of tractor chassis, tractor working device and suspension system will be undertaken by other teachers such as Nie Jiamei, Yu yingxiao, Li Aoxue and Zhao Menglong from Jiangsu Agriculture and Forestry Vocational and Technical College, respectively.
