On June 8, Prof. Huajing Maske, Associate Vice President of Wayne State University, Prof. Ali-Abolmaali, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Prof. Ece-Yaprak, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Technology, and their team of three visited the School of Automotive Engineering to discuss and promote the declaration of Sino-foreign Cooperative Program between the School of Automotive Engineering and the Mechanical Engineering Program of Wayne State University and the "3+2" Master's and PhD Joint Cultivation Program of both parties, Prof. Geng Guoqing, Vice President of the School of Automotive Engineering, Prof. Zou Shijian, Vice Dean of the Department of International Exchanges and Cooperation, and Mr. Tu Wenqiong, teacher of the Department of Vehicle Engineering, joined the meeting.

More than 20 students from the College of Automobile and related colleges of engineering majors participated in the introduction of "3+2" undergraduate and master's degree joint training program. Prof. Ali- Abolmaali, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Prof. Ece-Yaprak, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, made a detailed elaboration of the program in terms of the specific forms of cultivation, curricular settings, internship practice and post-graduation employment, respectively. The two sides also carried out in-depth exchanges and reached a consensus on deepening the cooperation between the two schools in the fields of student training, faculty exchange visits, scientific research, joint laboratory construction and other areas.
