In order to enliven the scientific research atmosphere of the college and promote the academic exchanges between teachers and students, the School of Automotive holds a series of activities of "Monday Lecture". This activity was held at 15:00 on March 15, 2023, in Conference Room 311 of the College of Automotive. Liu Yaqi, a teacher from the Department of Transportation of our college, gave an academic lecture on the theme of "Emotional Computing for car drivers and its application in the Research of Behavior Recognition". The lecture was hosted by Wang Ruochen, vice president of the College of Automotive.

The study of the driver's behavioral decision-making mechanism from the perspective of emotion and the connection of the driver's internal psychological characteristics with the vehicle running characteristics through the study of the correlation between emotion and behavior is of great significance for revealing the internal micro-mechanism of driving behavior, and has a wide application prospect in the aspects of intelligent vehicle driving safety and human-computer interaction.

The lecture was well received by teachers and students, and the teachers and students who participated in the lecture listened attentively and were not done. After the lecture, we had a heated discussion on how to carry out scientific research and improve innovation ability.
