In September 26th, Mr. Sato and Mr. Jia yi, senior director from TEMC made a technical speech,” Toyota's road to safety evolution”, in Automobile institute. The speech was hosted by professor Jiang gaining, dean of Automotive Institute, and more than 100 teachers and students from Automotive Institute took part in the speech.
Mr. Sato first introduced the continuous exploration and practice of Toyota vehicles in reducing traffic accidents, summarized the contribution of passive safety and emergency relief to reduce the casualty rate of traffic accidents, discussed the contribution of active safety in reducing accidents and shared the results of Toyota's research on autonomous driving.
At last, Mr.Sato and Mr.Jia yi made a warmly discussion with teachers and students. Mr.Sato has accumulated a wealth of experience in vehicle safety since he joined Toyota in 1984. Mr. Sato has made a deep and simple explanation of passive safety, active safety and autonomous driving, and gives people a vivid lesson on Toyota vehicle safety evolution course.
