On May 15, 2024. in Conference Room 311, Mr. Wang Daoge of the Department of Transportation and Communications held an academic lecture on “Multi-Intelligent Body-Based Urban Mobility Simulation Methods and Applications”, which was presided over by Prof. Jing Peng, vice dean of the School of Automotive.
Entering the stock period of refined resource allocation, China's urban transportation is in urgent need of transportation planning decision-making tools that can predict individual-level behavioral changes under short-term regulation. The characteristics of multi-intelligence simulation, which is oriented to the portrayal of individual activity-travel behavior mechanisms, enable it to respond to this need. This presentation will focus on the basic concepts, inputs and outputs, core algorithms, and application scenarios of the multi-intelligent body simulation method. The lecture was well received by the teachers and students, who attended the lecture and listened attentively and uninterruptedly. After the lecture, there was a lively discussion on the future development trend of new urban travel. The lecture received unanimous praise from both teachers and students, and the attendees were fully focused and satisfied.
