On December 2nd, 2018 Big Data & Computational Intelligence Contest (BDCI 2018) held by China Computer Federation ended in Shenyang city.

The intelligent vehicle team led by professor Cai Yingfeng, Dean of Automotive Engineering Research Institute, participated in the ‘three-dimensional point cloud segmentation of automatic driving’ competition, whose final score ranked the first among all the participating university teams and the fourth among the 1408 teams (the top three are domestic and overseas enterprise teams), and won the third prize in the competition. Through the competition, the innovation level and practical ability of the team have been greatly improved, and the popularity of our school's intelligent car team at home and abroad has been effectivelyenhanced.
