On the morning of November 21, 2020, China Machinery Industry Federation organized an achievement appraisal meeting of a national scientific research project undertaken by Professor Wang Pan of our school in our school. The project title is "The key to plasma-based nanocatalytic removal of NOx and the realization of low-temperature PM combustion Technology". The director of the appraisal committee is Professor Lin He of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and the deputy directors are Professor Liu Ming of the Army Military Transportation College and Professor Zhan Rijing of Shanghai Jiaotong University. The expert group members are Professor Lin Jun of Nanjing Normal University, Professor Su Shichuan of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Professor Chu Huaqiang from Anhui University of Technology and Professor Xia Jingjing from Huaiyin Institute of Technology. Li Qiang, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu University, Yin Bifeng, Dean of the School of Automobile and Traffic Engineering, and project team members attended the meeting. Director Ma Jingkun of China Machinery Industry Federation presided over the results appraisal meeting.

The person in charge of the project, Professor Wang Pan of our institute, made a report on the results and explained the key technologies, innovations, technical results and application of the project to the experts in detail. Experts of the appraisal committee reviewed relevant technical data, listened carefully to the project work report and checked the project technical summary report on site. After inquiries and discussions, the appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the scientific and technological achievements passed the appraisal, and generally reached the international advanced level.
