Invited by president of School of Automotive Professor Jiang Haobing, on November 1st,  Professor Man Zhihong did a marvelous speech The Modeling and Control of SBW System at 224 report room in Automotive Engineering Research Institute. The report is hosted by Professor Jiang Haobing, about 100 teachers and students from School of Automotive and School of Electronics listened to the report.

Professor Man Zhihong majored in non-linear control and research of automotive dynamics control, and made a great contribution to aspects of terminal synovial control and adaptive filtering theory, and is one of the founders of terminal synovial control. At the report meeting, Professor Man Zhihong carried out of 5 aspects including SBW physical structure, SBW mathematical modeling, controller design based on synovial technique, analyses of results of tests and summary and prospect, analysed and shared his research progress and achievements of SBW for recent years in a simple way. After listening to the report, teachers and students asked Professor Man Zhihong questions about theoretical analyses and engineering developments, and Professor Man Zhihong answered every question and shared his experience.

After the meeting, Professor Man Zhihong, Professor Jiang Haobing and relevant teachers discussed more about some academic things, and gave full affirmation about the achievements of the corresponding research of our school and the development of the college. Professor Man Zhihong has a prudent academic attitude and cares about students, his report also broadened teachers’ and students’ horizons, and inspire our school some new ideas for research about automotive steering.
