From October 27th to 29th, 2015 SAECCE was held in the Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center. This has been the largest academic and technical exchange conference in the field of automotive engineering in China. There were more than 2000 participants from domestic and foreign attending it. More than twenty teachers and students from School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering attended the conference, and six teachers and students gave thesis presentations in the conference.

Moreover, on the 2015 SAECCE Award Ceremony held on October 29th, Cai Yingfeng and Huang Chen from Automotive Engineering Research Institute both got the Excellent Paper Awards. They not only won the honor for Jiangsu University, but also showed the academic quality of teachers and students from Vehicle Engineering.

On October 29th, 2015 China Automobile Industry Science and Technology Award ceremony was held as well. City-minitype electric vehicles‘ Zhi Dou ' series (developed by our university and Shandong Xindayang Electric Vehicle Co.)with independent development and technical innovation of products won the third prize of Science and Technology of China Automobile Industry Science and Technology Award.

The conference provided a good platform for the academic exchange of the automobile industry. It had strengthened the contact and communication between our school and other colleges and companies, and has injected new impetus to subsequent research and teaching.
