In the afternoon of May 14, the awards ceremony of 2014 GRC Scholarship and the academic report from David Barnett were held in Room 311,the lecture hall of School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering. Mr.David Barnett, the manager of Calibration Application Department, Ms. LiuYan, the HR manager, Mr.Wei Longpin, the Calibration Engineering from GIF Research Center(China) Co., Ltd and Prof.Jiang Haobin, the dean of School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering, Prof.Luo Fuqiang, Party chief of our school from Jiangsu University as well as students who won the scholarship and other 80 students and teachers from School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering went to the ceremony and the report.

Party chief Luo introduced the development process and the criteria of assessment of the GRC Scholarship, then he announced the winners. After that，the winners were awarded certificates by Mr. David Barnett and Mr. Jiang Haobin and they took a photo together to mark the occasion.

After the award ceremony, Mr. David Barnett also gave an academic report entitled Practical Solutions for Fuel Consumption Reduction.

GIF Research Center(China) Co., Ltd is a foreign engineering and technical services company, it established the GRC scholarship for students of our school in 2008, aiming to help excellent students who rank the top 10 of the major and who participated in the competition related to the major(students in poor economic conditions are preferred). And the GRC scholarship has been established for 7 years.
