On February 14th, 2022, Prof. Yin Bifeng, president of the School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering, led a team to visit AVL Shanghai Technology Center. Dr. Frank Beste, general manager of AVL Shanghai Technology Center, warmly received President Yin Bifeng and his delegation.

First of all, the appointment ceremony of visiting professor of Jiangsu University was held in the AVL conference hall, and Prof. Dong Fei, director of the Department of Power of Automotive School, presided over the ceremony. On behalf of the university, Dean Yin Bifeng presented the Jiangsu University visiting Professor certificate to Dr. Frank Beste, the general manager of AVL, and wore the university emblem of Jiangsu University. Subsequently, Prof. Frank Beste gave a special report entitled "AVL---Next Generation Vehicle Powertrain Technology Frontier and Trend Analysis".
