In order to enliven the scientific research atmosphere of the college and promote the academic exchanges between teachers and students, the School of Automotive holds a series of activities of "Monday Lecture". The activity was held at 15:00 on February 15, 2023, in the conference room 311 of the College of Automotive Engineering. Tang Dong, a teacher from the Department of Power Engineering of our college, gave an academic lecture with the theme of "Inspiration and Reflection of Visiting students in Germany". The lecture was hosted by Wang Ruochen, vice president of the College of Automotive Engineering.

Mr. Tang Dong visited and studied in OTH Amberg-Weiden, Germany for one year, participated in a number of German projects and participated in the all-English teaching of undergraduate and overseas postgraduate courses. This report shares his experience based on the characteristic scientific research and teaching practice during the visit, and gives specific implementation suggestions for classroom teaching and interaction with students. It can provide some inspiration and reference for the better development of teaching and research work in the future.

The lecture was well received by teachers and students, and the teachers and students who participated in the lecture listened attentively and were not done. After the lecture, there was a heated discussion on the merits of the German education concept.
