Signing and Inauguration Ceremony of the Sino-Japanese International Joint Laboratory for Transportation Equipment and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Successfully Held

On April 28, the signing and inauguration ceremony of the "Sino-Japanese International Joint Laboratory of Carrier Equipment and Intelligent Transportation and Maintenance" (hereinafter referred to as the "International Joint Laboratory"), which was jointly established by Jiangsu University and Mie University, was held in the conference room of the School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering (SAETE) in Room 310 of SAETE. Prof. Chen Shanpeng of Mie University, Dean Yin Bifeng of School of Automotive and Transportation Engineering of Jiangsu University, Deputy Director Zou Shijian of International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Deputy Secretary Yang Jian and Prof. Li Zhongxing of School of Automotive Engineering were present at the signing and unveiling ceremony, presided over by Vice Dean Geng Guoqing.

Focusing on the two major fields of carrier equipment and intelligent operation and maintenance, the two sides will take the "International Joint Laboratory" as a research platform, and in line with the vision of integrating basic innovation and key technological breakthroughs, and in accordance with the principle of "sharing resources, complementing each other's strengths, and mutual benefit", the two sides will focus on technological problems from the perspective of basic research, and promote cooperation of projects, thematic training, technological forum, and training of talents through multi-channels, so as to promote the in-depth fusion of academic exchanges and cooperative researches, and to strive to make the "International Joint Laboratory" into a scientific research platform that has innovations, characteristics, and influences. After the signing and unveiling ceremony, Prof. Chen Shanpeng gave an academic report titled "Artificial Intelligence-based Equipment Diagnostic System", focusing on the intelligent operation and maintenance methodology and the system design and development process, and combined with the specific application scenarios of the carrier equipment or rotating equipment, he shared his research work on how to develop the handheld diagnostic instrument, online intelligent condition monitoring and diagnostic system, and so on.
