The seminar ofthe professional master education of 2017 national transportation engineering fieldundertook by our school was held at the school convention center on October 27. Vice President, professor Long Chen attended this meeting, warmly welcomed the experts and representatives of the conference, and introduced the history of our school and the development of the transportation engineering discipline in our school.

The conference centered on the concept of development full aspects——"ideological correctness, social responsibility conformity, solid theoretical method, and hard power of technical application", and discussed the training work of traffic engineering. Nine representatives include professor Jianxin Liu from Southwest Jiaotong University, professor Jiaorong Wu from Tongji University, professor Jian Lu from Southeast University, professor Haobin Jiang from Jiangsu University and other professors respectively do the special report, heated discussion and in-depth communication.

More than 70 experts and representatives from over 40 universities and research institutes in China participated in the seminar. The seminar was successfully held in our school which strengthen the connection of nationwide traffic engineering experts and scholars and promote the exchange and cooperation of our and peer universities, which plays an important role in enhance the influence of our school's traffic engineering discipline.
