Professor Hongming Xu of Birmingham University in UK, made an academic report entitledStudy on Particulate Matter Emissions ofGasoline direct injection enginein the 311 lecture hall of the automotive and traffic engineering building on October 27.

Professor Hongming Xu introduced conditions of the central laboratory of advanced engine and vehicle technology research in Birmingham university, and welcomed the students and faculty in Jiangsu university to do further study and research at Birmingham university.

This conference was presided by Fuqiang Luo, the secretary of the automotive and traffic engineering college. Participate in the meeting were, relevant faculty, graduate students and undergraduates. The President of the School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering, Haobin Jiang, and vice President of the school, Yin bifeng, spoke with professor Xu. The two sides expressed the consensus on strengthening academic exchanges, platform construction, young teachers’ and students' exchanges.
