From August 9th to 11th, 2024, the Fourth National College Student Plasma Science and Technology Innovation Competition Final was successfully held at the China West Innovation Harbor in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. The competition adhered to the core concept of "interdisciplinary integration and innovation-driven development", closely focusing on the urgent needs of national and industry development, and focusing on the latest cutting-edge and hot topics in plasma science and its applications.
Two teams established by Associate Professor Shi Yunxi from the Automotive College represented Jiangsu University in the finals. Through on-site presentations, research reports, PPT presentations, and the defense phase, Master's student Hou Daolong's work, "Carbon Offsetting Pioneer" — NTP Low-Temperature Regeneration Non-Road Machinery DPF Intelligent Control Device, won first prize, and Master's student Ding Zhengping's work, "Catalytic Core Revival" — A DOC Platinum-Based Catalyst Modification Regeneration Intelligent Control Device Using Low-Temperature Plasma Technology,won second prize.
During the competition, the team from the School of Automotive Engineering demonstrated their innovative achievements in the application of low-temperature plasma technology in the field of vehicle post-treatment with full enthusiasm and solid professional skills, showing the judges the spirit and pursuit of striving and innovation of the teachers and students of Jiangsu University in scientific research.
