On June 2nd, professor Li Zhibin, from School of Transportation, Southeast University, made a lecture which theme is “Research on longitudinal behavior of intelligent vehicle faceting congestion and safety improvement” in 311 hall for our undergraduate and postgraduate students and teachers. The lecture was chaired by Cai Yingfeng, executive vice President of automotive research institute.
Professor Li Zhibin explained the related research and some conclusions of the longitudinal behavior control of intelligent vehicles in the light of the frontier problems in the transportation field. Next, he elaborated the theme around "adaptive ACC for traffic flow safety" and "vehicle longitudinal behavior optimization with active elimination of motion waves". Finally and surprisingly, he shared his thoughts on writing high-level academic papers which acquired high welcome from the students.
Through the lecture, students have some understanding of the research on the longitudinal behavior control of intelligent vehicles, and have further gained from how to write high-level papers.
