On April 19, the ceremony and cum report on the appointment of part-time professor of Research Professor Zhou Wei, Director of the Automotive Transportation Technology Research Center of Ministry of Transport,was successfully held in Lecture hall 224.

President Yan Xiaohong issued a letter of appointment for Professor Zhou Wei and wore a school badge for him. The ceremony and the report were presided over by dean Jiang Haobin

President Yan Xiaohong gave a speech at the ceremony of appointment and said that the appointment would further strengthen the cooperation between our school and the Highway Research and Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, promote the development of transportation engineering and related disciplines, promote scientific research and innovation and cultivate more high-level professionals.

After the ceremony, Professor Zhou Wei gave an academic report entitled "Trends and obstacles in the Development of Motor vehicle Intelligence". Focusing on the hot topic of vehicle intelligence in a global way, this speech expounded the policy, concept and plan of the development of motor vehicle intelligence from the angle of high-quality development of transportation industry, including the background and trend of vehicle intelligence, the misunderstanding of the concept, the obstacles in the development and suggestions to promote vehicle intelligence development in our country.
