On June 28th, Dr. Ahmad Ezzeddine, the assistant vice president for international affairs of Wayne State University, visited Jiangsu University and held meetings on “121 Dual Degree Program” to expand major level cooperation between JSU’s Thermal Energy and Power Engineering and WSU’s Mechanical Engineering for undergraduate student exchange.
During the meeting, the undergraduate programs and university collaborations were discussed. Both parties reach consensus on over issues including the implementation of the project progress, student training methods, credits conversion and other main aspects of the cooperation agreement.Short-term tasks and due time were also specified.
The 1+2+1 Undergraduate Dual Degree Program (DDP) is a part of the Sino-American Cooperation on Higher Education and Professional Development (CHEPD). Participants will be able to obtain two bachelor’s degrees upon their graduation from both universities after fulfilling courses required by the academic guidelines.
