On October 21, the College of Automotive Engineering appointed Dr. Noguchi Ryozo (Kyoto University) as a visiting professor in a ceremony held in Room 311.

University representatives presented the appointment certificate and expressed hopes for deeper collaboration in fields such as intelligent agricultural robotics and smart agricultural equipment.

Prof. Noguchi then delivered a lecture on developing an electronic water-sensitive sensor for intelligent pesticide spraying in orchards, highlighting precision application, reduced spray drift, operator safety, and real-time monitoring with feedback control.
