On September 22rd-24th，2016, the 2016 (tenth) China automotive lightweight technology seminar was held in Danyang Exhibition Center, our school was a co-organizer, and teachers of school of automotive and traffic engineering, attended the meeting, and 10 students participated in the organization of work in the meeting. The conference was held by the Automotive Lightweight Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the China Automotive Engineering Society, and was co-sponsored Jiangsu University and Danyang automobile parts chamber of Commerce and other units.
The seminar has been widely concerned and actively involved by the industry, which lined up more than 450 domestic representatives from vehicles and parts companies, institutions of higher education, research institutes and other units. The meeting lasted for 3 days, the special technical communication and lightweight technology and products shows were in 9.22-23, and 24th was the visiting day of the Danyang City automobile lightweight enterprises.
The conference was divided into the general assembly and the venues, in the morning of 22th, the general meeting mainly focused on the latest research results of energy-saving and new energy automotive lightweight technology, lightweight automobile new technology and others. Director general of China Automotive Engineering Society, Fu Yuwu, deputy secretary of the Danyang Municipal Committee, acting mayor, Huang Chunnian, made speeches respectively. Professor Wang Dengfeng of Jilin University, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Mao Xinping and other experts and scholars delivered keynote speeches on the Energy-saving and New Energy Automotive Lightweight Technology Development Trend, Low Cost and Low Carbon Steel for Hot Forming and Development and other topics. The venue carried out in-depth discussion around the automotive steel, automotive aluminum magnesium alloy and automotive lightweight design, at the same time, the meeting also established the research of lightweight technology students forum for the first time, aimed at strengthening the gradient cultivation and construction of the domestic automobile lightweight talents to promote the sustainable development of lightweight car industry in china.
