In the afternoon of October 13th, at 3:30, general manager of CIMC Vehicle (Group) Limited Company and adjunct professor Li Guiping’s appointment ceremony symposium and special report meeting was held in the first report hall of the conference center of the university, the school party secretary, President Yuan Shouqi awarded the general manager Li Guiping letter of appointment, and wore the school badge, the appointment ceremony was presided over by Jiang Haobin,Dean of the School of Automobile and Traffic Engineering.

 

After the appointment ceremony, Professor Li Guiping did a marvelous report entitled The New Normal Economic Environment of College Students’ Occupation Career Planning and International Competitive Advantage of CIMC Vehicle, which included two aspects, ‘My path of the growth in Chinese Enterprises - to create and not to obey’ and ‘Change in the fragmentation of the global market of semitrailer’. During the report, the attending teachers and students communicated with Professor Li Guiping.

  

Relevant leaders of Jingkou District government, Jingkou Industrial Park, professional investment staff of Jingkou District, relevant departments school leaders and teachers and students attended the above activities.

Mr. Li Guiping, is now the director and general manager of CIMC Vehicle Group, committee member of the CIMC Group Executive Committee. Graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1986 with a bachelor's degree, gained master degree of Science in American Southern Connecticut University in 1993. In 2002, Li Guiping was ordered to start the CIMC special vehicle business, experienced the development process from scratch, from weak to strong. In 2015, CIMC Group achieved annual operating income of 13.2 billion yuan, had global sales of more than 110 thousand units, further consolidated its world's first market position. Mr. Li Guiping had been the Vice-president of the Automobile Industry Association, Chairman of the China Special Vehicle Association from 2011.
