On April 10th, professor Zhu xiaoming, from School of transportation in Beijing Jiaotong University, was invited to our school to deliver an academic report entitled "professional education thinking and practice based on OBE". This report was presided over by professor Jiang haobin, dean of the school of automobile and traffic engineering, and nearly 90 people attended involved the leaders of the undergraduate teaching in the school of automotive and traffic engineering and relevant professional leaders and teachers.

Professor Zhu's report introduced the meaning of OBE (Outcome -based Education) and it’s development in China, and combined with rich experience for professional certification, elaborated the core values of professional certification, the core content, two main body, quality standards and examination standards, analyzes the latest certification standards and its characteristic, pointed out the self-assessment report and the key problems in the process of on-site examination, shared his own experiences and understanding for years to involved with transportation professional certification works.
