On October 30, 2024, in Conference Room 311, Professor Fu Yifeng from the Vehicle Engineering Department of our college delivered an academic lecture titled "Development of Low-Frequency Broadband Acoustic Packages for New Energy Vehicles Based on Superstructure Design". The lecture was hosted by Professor Jing Peng, the deputy director of the Automobile College.
With the rapid development of China's new energy vehicle (NEV) industry, the NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) performance of vehicles has received increasing attention. The acoustic package system is a crucial component for enhancing vehicle NVH performance, yet the evolution of NEVs poses new challenges for acoustic packages. Acoustic metamaterials offer potential solutions for achieving low-frequency broadband noise control and lightweight design. This report will introduce the basic concepts, application scenarios, and design methods of automotive acoustic packages and acoustic metastructures. The lecture received widespread acclaim from both teachers and students, who listened intently and found it highly engaging. After the lecture, everyone engaged in a lively discussion on the development of low-frequency broadband acoustic packages for NEVs. The lecture received unanimous praise from both teachers and students, and the attendees were fully focused and satisfied.
