On June 28th,the JSU Handover Ceremony for Vehicle Engineering and English Pilot Class of Grade 2018 studying in Northern Arizona University was held in the first lecture hall of the conference center.

Vice President Hong Chen attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. “The Sino-America exchange class satisfies students’ demands of diversity learning and accelerates school’s reform and innovation of the talent development scheme.” Said Prof. Chen. He also introduced the effective methods that school adopted for the exchange class with regard to organizational system, coordination mechanism and teaching resources.

Prof. Liz Grobsmith sent her best wishes that all the participants would take full advantage of the existing education resources and campus environment in NAU and develop themselves into the link of friendship between JSU and NAU and successors of “121 Dual Degree Program”.

Director Yin Kai pointed out that Sino-American Cooperation on Higher Education and Professional Development (CHEPD) has developed into one of the biggest communication and cooperation platform for higher education between China and the United States and is playing a more and more active and important role.President Jiang Haobin and director Wu Qinghong extended warm congratulations to the 51 students who are going to study in the United States. They hope the students could improve their comprehensive quality with the educational resources of Northern Arizona University.

Student Representative Wu Zhihan and Parent Representative Ma Jianxing respectively expressed their sincere gratitude to JSU, CCIEE and NAU and promised that they would cherish the opportunity to keep stepping forward.

In the end, deputy director Feng Zhigang hand over the name list of a total of 51 students in the Sino American Exchange Program to representative Yin Kai and Liz Grobsmith and earnestly entrusted them with students’ study andlives.
