On November 5th, Raphael Lechner, director of Germany Center of Excellence for Combined Heat and Power(CECoGen) from the OTH Amberg-Weiden Technical College, and Nicholas O'Connell, assistant researcher, were invited by our school to give the lecture entitled " clean energy production by using modern engine technology and cutting-edge research and progress of new generation fuel", in the Lecture Hall 311 of our school. Luo Fuqiang, Secretary of Party Committee of our school, hosted the lecture. All the teachers and students were actively participating.

Director Raphael Lechner introduced the development status of cogeneration technology in Germany and the cooperation and exchange between OTH Amberg-Weiden Technical College and Jiangsu University. Researcher Nicholas O'Connell introduced the specific application of cogeneration technology, focusing on its economy and characteristics of low emission.

In the end, the German experts had a further Q & A with teachers and students, covering aspects of the lecture and the international exchange program, which not only improved the students' oral skills, but also broadened their international horizon, especially in cutting-edge science and technology. This lecture was a great help with the further development of our school and accelerated our pace towards internationalization.
